Di Melio - BIO honey
Apidava has involved directly in the training and selecting process of the beekeepers who were willing to produce bio honey. In this course, the company set up in 2004, five regional groups of 25-30 beekeepers each, to whom we assure financial support regarding the costs of certification and the necessary raw materials (bio wax, bio paint, treatments for bees, only substances accepted by the certification company).
This certification was made by ECO INSPECT from Cluj Napoca, private company for inspection and certification of ecological products, accepted company by RENAR and Agriculture Ministry from Romania, www.ecoinspect.ro.
In order to support the beekeepers, Apidava set up in 2005 the non profitable association API SERVICE CENTER, with the main purpose to support, promote and develop the beekeeping from Romania, especially in the area of Transylvania, supporting and developing the production of bio honey. As part of this association were organized trainings for beginners and professional beekeepers, lectured by specialists in this field, such as: Mrs. Marieke Mutsaers from Holland www.trichilia.nl/ Mr. Gilles Ratia – the president of Apimondia Permanently Committee “ Technology and Beekeeping Equipment”, www.apiservices.com Dr. Ing.
