Our company - Apidava participated for the first time at this worldwide Exhibition, and we won 2 medals for Temperate Zone:

During 15 – 20 September  2009, in Montpellier- France, took place the 41 edition of  the  International Congres Apimondia 2009, an event held every 2 years in different countries of the world. 

      Within this  Congress, took place a Honey Contest  where attendees from 5 continents  enrolled their products: honey and honey-wine, the prizes being awarded for the quality of different ranges of honey from 5 climatic area of the  globe. 

      Romania won 5 medals within this contest: 2 of  them  being obtained by Apidava  - Blaj, and the rest of  3  by   Romanian Association of  Beekeepers.

      This prizes were given for best quality, taste and  flavour of honey by a jury  formed from  beekeepers with a  wide experience in this field. (http://www.apimondia2009.com  -see page «Contest » - Winners of Honey Contest) 
  
 This prizes  represents  the international   recognition of   Apidava’s quality products, commercialized  not only on the internal market chains  but also on  the external market, for over 18 years.

      During next 2 years, Apidava  has the right  to promote it’s own products (linden and multi flower honey) on all selling  channels, by introducing  the medals logo on the labels of  those 2 ranges.  
 This distinctions  are an international confirmation that Romanian  beekeepers produce a high quality honey and we hope this will represent an advantage  in finding new clients on the external markets.
