About honey // Why honey and not sugar
Advantages of replacing sugar (the white poison) with honey in our alimentation:
- it has a calming effect upon our organism
- it does not have an irritating effect upon mucous membrane of the alimentary canal
- it is easily assimilated
- it answers very quickly to body’s need of energy
Since sugar has showed up in our alimentation, about 200 years ago, the occurrence of certain diseases such as dental decay, diabetes, obesity has raised exponentially:
Preventing diabetes - recent studies, done in different countries of the world, show that total replacement of sugar with honey leads to a 60-70% rate of reduction regarding diabetes occurrence. Honey is recommended especially in children’s and teenagers’ alimentation in order to prevent juvenile diabetes, which cannot be cured by the help of the present methods.
Preventing obesity - it is highly recommended the total replacement of sugar with honey, as it does not cause the same addiction as the usual sugars.
