Apidava Company has implemented The System of Quality Management ISO 9001 since 2002, and starting with 2005 it has obtained the HACCP certification (Hazard Analysis and of Critical Checking Points). These certifications are the proof of implementing the required techniques and requests for food safety, which is a system based on danger prevention and avoidance of the risks of compromising the quality of the alimentary products.

At present the company has been recertified according to the new standard ISO 22.000 for Food Safety.

Apidava Company is one of the few in this field which has obtained the sanitary-veterinary authorization in order to carry on intra-community trade RO H2 EC. This is drawn into consumers’ attention by the presence of the “Sanitary- Veterinary Checking” oval sign on the labels of Apidava products (This authorization was acquired only after the company had accomplished the requests provided by the European Legislation related to this field, concerning the processing and commercialization of the food products of animal origin (the way honey is considered to be).
